Five Ways to Control Access
Public
Anyone with the link can view. No barriers. Best for marketing content you want shared widely.
Hidden
Not listed on your brand page. Only accessible via direct link. For content you share selectively.
Password Protected
Require a password to view. Simple access control when you don't need to track individuals.
Email Restricted
PopularOnly specific email addresses can access. Add individuals to an allowed list. Track requested access, granted entry, and ongoing engagement.
Domain Restricted
Allow anyone with a specific email domain. Lock to @yourcompany.com. Perfect for internal docs.
Magic Link (Any Email)
Anyone can request access by entering their email. They get a magic link. You capture demand before reading starts and track what happens after.
Capture Leads, Track Readers
Lead Capture
Every viewer becomes a known lead. See who requested access, who got in, and export the data to your CRM or CSV.
Magic Link Auth
No passwords to remember. Enter email, get a link, click to access. Repeat visits are logged even when access is granted automatically.
Custom Fields
Ask for company name, job title, phone number. Whatever your sales team needs.
Per-Reader Analytics
See each person's access path, reading progress, time spent, return visits, and clicked links.
Company-Only Access
Manage Access at Scale
- Create Named ListsGroup emails into lists like "Sales Team," "Beta Testers," or "VIP Clients." Reuse across flipbooks.
- Bulk ImportUpload a CSV of email addresses. Hundreds of users added in seconds.
- Easy UpdatesAdd or remove emails from a list. Changes apply to all flipbooks using that list immediately.
Complete Audit Trail
When access is restricted, every request, decision, and return can be logged. See who requested access, who was granted or denied, who came back, and what they viewed. Export the logs for compliance reporting, legal discovery, or training verification.
Frequently Asked
How does magic link authentication work?
When someone enters their email, we send them a unique link. Clicking the link logs them in automatically. No password needed. The link expires after a set time for security. It's the same auth method used by Slack, Notion, and other modern tools.
Can I restrict to multiple domains?
Yes. Add as many domains as you need. Common use case: allow both your main company domain and contractor domains, or multiple subsidiary company emails.
What happens if someone tries to access without permission?
They see an access denied message with instructions. For email-gated content, they can request access by entering their email. For domain-restricted content, they're told which domains are allowed, and the failed attempt can still be logged.
Can I change access settings after publishing?
Yes. Change from public to restricted (or vice versa) anytime. If you make something more restrictive, existing unauthorized sessions are immediately invalidated.
How long does email verification last?
Once someone verifies their email, they stay logged in for 30 days (configurable). After that, they'll need to verify again. You can also manually revoke access anytime.
Can I see denied and repeat access attempts?
Yes. Failed access attempts are logged, and return access events can be tracked too. You can see which emails were denied, who kept coming back, and export the log for follow-up, compliance, or manual access-count analysis.
