How does analytics tracking compare?
FlippingBook publishes its analytics ladder right on the pricing table. Flipbook performance, devices and a weekly stats report come with every plan. Lead analytics arrives at Optimal. Audience engagement and geolocation data arrive at Advanced. Reporting history runs 30 days on Lite and Starter, one year on Optimal, and two years from Advanced up.
Flipbooker's aggregate dashboard starts on Professional: impressions, total reads, clicks, PDF downloads, average read time, average read percentage, mobile versus desktop, country, top clicked links, and whether the view came from Flipbooker or an embed. Company plans add reader summaries, reader journeys across the workspace, page-level engagement, book flow, access audits and CSV exports. Detailed interaction events are kept for 24 months; aggregate totals stay for the life of the account.
How much does FlippingBook cost compared to Flipbooker?
FlippingBook sells six plans, four for one person and two for teams. The figures below are the annual rate its page shows by default; month-to-month billing costs more.
What does Flipbooker cost?
Starter — $14/mo billed annually ($168/yr), or $29/mo billed monthly
10 published flipbooks, 150 pages or 100MB each, ad-free hosting. No analytics dashboard at this tier — that starts on Professional.
Professional — $39/mo billed annually ($468/yr), or $58/mo billed monthly
Adds the analytics dashboard (opens, average read time, average read percentage), custom branding, website embeds, QR codes and password protection. Analytics here are aggregate, not per reader.
Company — $219/mo billed annually ($2,628/yr), or $359/mo billed monthly
Adds per-reader analytics, email/domain restrictions, an embedded lead capture form, offline HTML5 download, Zapier, Calendly, and removing Flipbooker's own branding from the flipbook.
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no card required to look around.

What do the free plans and trials look like?
Neither product runs a permanently free tier. FlippingBook says so on its own pricing FAQ: "We don't have a free plan but we do have a free trial." That trial lasts 14 days, asks for no card, and lets you upload PDFs up to 500 MB and 2,000 pages.
Flipbooker's trial is also 14 days with no card. One thing worth knowing before either clock starts: both products move analytics up the ladder. FlippingBook puts audience engagement and geolocation data on Advanced. Flipbooker puts the aggregate dashboard on Professional and reader-level detail on Company. Trial the tier you would actually buy, not the one the trial hands you.
Which should you choose, FlippingBook or Flipbooker?
Five situations, five picks. Two of them go to FlippingBook, and one of those two is not close.
| If you need... | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| To see what one identified reader did, page by page | Flipbooker | Reader summaries, reader journeys and page-level engagement, Company plan |
| An alert the moment a flipbook gets opened | FlippingBook | Open notifications are on every FlippingBook plan. Flipbooker has none, on any plan |
| Readers to search the text inside the flipbook | FlippingBook | Text search on every plan. Flipbooker serves a page text layer, not a search box |
| An API, webhooks and CSV exports below the top tier | Flipbooker | API, webhooks and tracked links from Professional ($39/mo). FlippingBook lists API access on Advanced ($187/mo) |
| To gate a document by company domain and audit who got in | Flipbooker | Email and domain restrictions, magic links and access audits, Company plan |
How do the features stack up?
| Capability | Flipbooker | FlippingBook |
|---|---|---|
| Per-reader analytics | Company plan: reader summaries, reader journeys, page-level engagement, book flow | Audience engagement and geolocation data on Advanced and above |
| Lead capture forms | Company plan, alongside email gating and CSV lead export | Built-in lead generation from Optimal; lead analytics from Optimal |
| API and automation | Scoped public API, webhooks, tracked links and MCP tools from Professional | API access and Zapier from Advanced; GTM on request |
| How long the data lasts | 24 months of detailed reader data; aggregate totals for the life of the account | Reporting history of 30 days on Lite and Starter, 1 year on Optimal, 2 years from Advanced up |
| Entry price | $14/mo Starter billed annually, with no analytics dashboard at that tier | $20/mo Lite billed annually, with basic analytics included |
What's the real difference between FlippingBook and Flipbooker?
Both take a PDF and make it flip. Nobody wins on that in 2026. The difference shows up in what each company decided to charge for, and where on the ladder it sits.
FlippingBook spreads breadth across six tiers: bookshelves, hardcovers, quizzes, a mobile app, self-hosting on request for Team and Enterprise. Flipbooker pushes almost everything toward one question, which is what happened to the document after you sent it. That is why reader-level reporting sits behind a single plan instead of being thinned across four.
When does FlippingBook make sense?
When you publish often and want the shelf, the in-flipbook search and an open notification without thinking about tiers. FlippingBook also lists self-hosting on request for Team and Enterprise, and SAML single sign-on at Enterprise. Flipbooker offers none of those. Read their plan table before taking our word for it.
When does Flipbooker make sense?
When one document has to move one decision. A proposal, a tender response, a gated report. You want the reader's email on file, the pages they actually finished, the links they clicked, and a CSV of all of it. That's the Company plan, and it is the thing the product is built around.
Can you migrate from FlippingBook to Flipbooker?
Yes. You already own the PDFs, so re-uploading them is the quick part, and Word, PowerPoint and Excel files go in the same way. The slow part is link hygiene. Every FlippingBook link sitting in an old campaign, a printed QR code or a partner's website has to be found and repointed. Do the embeds first, since those live in your own CMS, then work outward. Keep the old flipbooks live while you go.

Flipbooker pricingCommon questions
Is Flipbooker cheaper than FlippingBook?
At the entry rung, slightly. Flipbooker Starter is $14/mo billed annually against FlippingBook Lite at $20/mo, checked September 21, 2026. Higher up it flips: FlippingBook Advanced is $187/mo and Team is $257/mo, while Flipbooker Company is $219/mo. Compare what each rung buys you rather than the headline, because the analytics sit at different heights.
Does Flipbooker track individual readers?
On the Company plan, yes. That tier carries reader summaries, reader journeys across every flipbook in the workspace, page-level engagement and CSV exports. A reader only gets a name once they identify themselves through email gating, a lead form or an access restriction. Anonymous visitors are tracked per session without one. Aggregate analytics start a tier lower, on Professional.
Can I download an offline HTML5 flipbook from Flipbooker?
Yes, on the Company plan. You get a packaged offline HTML5 flipbook you can host wherever you like, which covers trade-show kiosks, intranets and networks with no outside access. Treat it as a portable copy rather than a hosted flipbook. FlippingBook handles the same need differently, listing self-hosting on request for its Team and Enterprise plans.
Which is better for catalogs and magazines?
FlippingBook, for most publishers. Digital bookshelves from the Optimal plan group issues and catalogs under one branded shelf, and readers get in-flipbook text search on every plan. Flipbooker has neither. Pick Flipbooker when the catalog is gated, sent to named accounts, and you need to know which buyer read which pages, which is the Company plan.
Does Flipbooker accept Word and PowerPoint?
Yes. PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files all convert into mobile-responsive flipbooks, so a deck does not need a trip through a design tool first. Uploads cap at 100 MB on Starter and 500 MB from Professional up. If a file runs bigger than that, compress the images on export and try again.
What does each plan include?
Starter, $14/mo billed annually, publishes 10 flipbooks with ad-free hosting and PDF download. Professional, $39/mo, adds the aggregate analytics dashboard, brand page, embeds, QR codes, password protection, the public API and webhooks. Company, $219/mo, adds per-reader analytics, lead forms, email and domain restrictions, Zapier, offline HTML5 export and white label. Enterprise is sales-led.
